Eli's First Christmas!

It was a LONG and exciting week for me! It started out with me still being a little sick, but I also reached a few milestones this week! I'll update with more info later, but for now, here's the photos and video!

I Love Birdies and Daddies (or Maybe Just MY Daddy...)

I've taken up birdwatching. There was some sort of blue and green bird hovering near me the other day. Danged if the thing wasn't scared of me one bit! I got a really good look at it so I can ask my Grandpa Gene and Grandma Helen what kind of bird it is, exactly.



I've been hanging out with Daddy a lot lately. We make each other smile.

Legwarmers are totally fine on a baby. Right? Hey, I think i look good in 'em. Oh, and Mommy wanted me to tell everyone that while I haven't yet mastered completely rolling over, I am now fully capable of turning on to my side from my back. I rule! Here's a picture of me doing just that. Mommy always puts me on my back on the changing table, but I like to mix things up for her.

Sweet Pea's Custom Diaper Cover

Look what Mommy got for me! She was at a craft fair a couple weeks ago and saw a diaper cover with sweet peas on it. She really wanted to get it for me, but it was a size Large and we simply couldn't wait that long to wear it, so we asked the nice lady if she would make one in a size Medium, and she did! It's still a little big on me, but I can ALMOST wear it without leaking!





Mommy sure likes to put pictures of my little booty up here, which is kinda embarassing. I may have to talk to her about that. Once I learn to talk, that is...

I've been smiling more and more every day. In fact, last night, I was really crabby and Mommy started laughing at me because of how mad I was getting, so then I just had to stop fussing and start smiling! Here are some videos of me smiling and chatting it up with the mobile.

Nekkid Time!

Mommy bought me a Nekkie Blankie this week so that I could have nekkid time. I love it! I peed on it twice already! Good thing that's what it's built for!

My New Friend (aka Mommy's Fan)

So there's this guy that I started noticing lately. He hangs out by my bed all the time. He's ALWAYS there! So I figured, hey, why not strike up a conversation? I've been trying to talk to him for about three days now. But the dude will not talk back. What's the deal? I get so frustrated!

Oh My God, I'm SO Cute!

Mommy couldn't decide which of these photos to show everyone, so I decided you should see ALL of them. I making a different face in each picture. I'm in the new hat Mommy bought for me. Mommy got one in the next size up too so that I can wear it when Daddy graduates from law school (Mommy likes to plan ahead). GO GOPHERS!

Mommy got me a brand new diaper and it is FAN-CY!





It's like velvet! Mommy likes it so much that she ordered 3 more in green, red and brown! It's so cute I almost don't want to wear pants!

Happy Funtime

Today I had my 2 month check up with the doctor. And my immunizations. I didn't care for all those shots, but Mommy and Daddy think I'm brave because I didn't cry or fuss nearly as much as they expected--and definitely not as much as the baby in the next room over!

To prepare me for my doctor's visit, Mommy let me play all morning!







Then I fell asleep for a while after self-soothing.
