Helping Daddy

I helped Daddy study last night!

8 Weeks!

I'm 8 weeks old today! Can you believe it?!?

Today Mommy caught me watching the mobile. Don't tell anyone okay? Only babies do that!



We had a visitor the other day. Mommy's friend Shelley was here for the holidays and got to meet me! I liked playing with her in my jumperoo!









After all that I was tuckered out!

Thanksgiving Extravaganza!

Prepare yourself folks. This is gonna be a long one!

Mommy and Daddy and Marley and I went to Madison for my first Thanksgiving. It was super fun! I got to see my aunts and uncles and grandparents again! First we went to Daddy's parents' house to sleep after our long drive. I was so excited in the morning because Grandma fed me instead of Mommy!



After breakfast we drove to Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Kyle's house for a Thanksgiving meal. I got to see my Grandma and Grandpa Schehr and my Aunt Darcy and Uncle Rich too! I was passed around the hold time, which was great because I LOVE being the center of attention.

















After dinner, I visited with Uncle Kyle and Aunt Jennifer and showed them my boxing skills!



I was exhausted by my visit, but on Friday morning I was up and exercising!





On Friday evening we went to another Thanksgiving meal at Grandma and Grandpa Larson's house. I was, again, the center of attention. This time even Grandpa Larson held me. I liked him a lot and gave him a great big smile when I first looked at him.













Grandpa Kenny made a video of my first Thanksgiving too!

Mommy was wearing me in the Baby Bjorn when she noticed this:

Little Big Man

I wore my jeans and boots yesterday. Mommy and Daddy thought I looked like a miniature little man. I'm a little big man!



And just to embarass me, Daddy took a picture of me sucking Mommy's nose. Mommy said she was going to show it to all my future girlfriends...



And also, Marley got a new collar. Isn't he handsome? Not as handsome as me though!

We Went on a Walk Today!

It wasn't my first walk, but it was the first walk that Daddy photographed! I think Daddy was mostly taking pictures of Mommy because you can't even see me in that stroller!





During our walk a nice lady saw Daddy taking pictures of me and Mommy and asked if we wanted her to take a picture of our whole family. I think it turned out pretty nice even if you can't see me.



Mommy thought I looked too cute snoozing on the walk so she took some close-ups. FINALLY!





Mommy also took a picture of this tree on our block because it was SO pretty!

Sweet Pea

I finally fit into the sweet pea jammies that Grandma Larson bought for me so Mommy decided to take a video and a bunch of pictures. Mommy thinks I should be a baby model since I'm so dang cute.











Mommy also took some photos of me in my diaper. How embarassing!





Marley was terribly jealous of all the attention I was getting.

It's cashmere. Only the best for me! Actually, it's just leftover from when Mommy made Grandma Larson a hat. It really brings out my eyes, don't you think?

5 Weeks!

I'm 5 weeks old today!

And I'm really starting to like the Baby Bjorn. Mommy is GLAD.

Mommy made me a new hat!

Eli's Got a Big Ol' Butt

I went to the doctor yesterday. I gained 2 pounds since my last visit! I weight 8 pounds, 11 ounces now. Mommy and Daddy are very happy, but I'm not so sure. Plus Mommy has started putting cloth diapers on me and now my butt looks HUGE. See?



I also look huge from the front now. See the difference?





Mommy thinks it's really funny. I don't, so much.

I need to exercise.



But I AM better able to do a bootie dance now!



If only I could stop eating!



Perhaps I can be distracted from eating by watching these funny looking bears...
